To the women...

On Mother's Day, I typed up a few of my thoughts and shared them in the world of Facebook. Never could I have imagined the amount of shares, texts, calls and messages that I would receive. Such sweet friends!! I wanted to share it here- so those who don't follow along on FB could take a peek!

Mother's Day used to be a tough one for me when Michael and I were praying that we would be parents! We were excited to celebrate our Mommas, but, on the inside I too wanted to be called "MOM".

On Mothers Day, I didn't post any pictures of my sweet girls and I. To me, Mothers Day is every day! I get to love on, cherish, kiss, hold, hug, feed, protect and give all the praise to the Father who granted the desires in my heart! Instead, I posted in honor of those who were praying to be a Mom. Here was my post....

Today I’m praying for you….
To the women who have been praying to expand their family.
To the women who have been tracking their cycle on their iphone app.
To the women who have thrown away negative after negative pregnancy test.
To the women who have a savings account, not for a shinny new car or amazing vacation, but for future/ current fertility or IVF treatments.
To the women who have just had a first, second, or third miscarriage and are afraid to give it another try
To the women who have lost a child due to stillborn or through other outcomes.
To the woman who has been told the news that they may not be able to conceive a child or carry a child.
To the women who have been on the wait list for an adoption for years and is still going through the hard process.
To the women who cry themselves to sleep, because the pain of watching friends celebrate pregnancy is just too hard & tears seem to be the only thing that seems to make since.
To the women who have a friend going through this pain and doesn’t know the words to comfort.

I am lifting you up today. Lifting you up to say that you are not alone. Your struggle is real. Your tears are real. Your feelings are real. Your heartbreak is real.

You are beautiful, strong, loved and NOT alone. May the Lord give you peace on this day. And may you trust in His every lasting love for YOU & YOUR story.
