Chapter 10- Lord, Lead Us!

June 7th, 2012 was an exciting day as I felt our little one's move for the first time! What a miracle.  Besides this belly of mine growing... I didn't feel pregnant. Well, I do now!  I can't wait for Michael to feel them, too! Being a Mom and Dad comes with such high responsibilities.  Michael and I can't wait to hold them in our arms, but secretly, I love knowing they are safe and sound in my belly. The worry and responsibilities will come soon enough. :) Keep growing little ones!  Once you are here- the leading begins!

I can't wait to see the way God leads Michael in his role as the leader in our family. It made me realize how lucky these little girls are to have parents who are building their home on the solid foundation of Jesus Christ.  We are looking forward to leading them into this wonderful world! We promise to lead with strong hands, stand behind them, and show them how to love and fight for what they believe in. We know we can't do it alone, but our Father will give us the strength to be everything we can.  His hands will lead and our Faith in Him will show us the way. We will be lead through His guidance.  Lead Me- By Sanctus Real, brought me to tears as I want to be the best Mommy that I can be to these precious Angels. I will need Michael's leadership and His leadership. They deserve the best faith centered home and I pray that God leads Michael and I to raise them always by His word! We love you, Layton and Hadley!! Thank you for trusting in us to be your Mommy and Daddy.

Lord, hold our hands and let the leading begin, we can't do it alone!

Chapter 9- What's in a name?

After the initial realization that we were having twins, we realized that we wouldn't want it any other way! We can't wait for double the hugs, double the kisses, and double the "I love you's!"

What's in a name?
I (being named a double name) have always wanted to name my little girl(s) a double name. Well... it turns out that neither one of the girls will have a double name.  There just wasn't one name in which Michael and I could both agree.  I know that Michael needs to love the name just as much as I do! When we found out that the twins were both girl, we wanted one of their middle names to have Michael's middle name, Aaron. That was an easy pick! We also love the fact that on both sides of our family's we have the name McKee! My Grammie's (My Mom's Mom) maiden name was McKee and Michael's Grandmother's (Michael's Dad's Mom) maiden name was McKee. Small world, huh? So, there we go! Two middle names, Aaron and McKee were decided! Well, that was easy!! Who would have thought picking first names would be so difficult? We both agreed that we wanted the girls to have unique and different names,  that was also easy, but deciding... that was hard!

Here are our precious little girl's names:
Hadley McKee and Layton Aaron
